Friends, please join us for the 5th and last in this series about assisted dying laws world wide, or Current Issues in the Right to Die. Contrary to what I might have written previously, this last session will be this Thursday, August 19 from 2 to 3:30 PDT.
This time we will look at the newly revised laws in Canada, at the new law in New Zealand, and the liberalization of Colombia‘s Constitutional Court decision, plus very interesting developments in Uruguay. You will also hear from Dr. Philip Nitshcke and his unique perspective. And we’ll do something never before attempted — we will rate all of the existing country’s laws and court rulings! All our previous presentations on this subject, ie, Switzerland, Australia, USA, and Europe, can be found on our website hemlocksocietysandiego.org.
To join our mailing list just send your name and email address to Ken Watson (KMW@ucsd.edu ) with the word PEACEFUL in the subject line.
We hope to see you Thursday on Zoom. Here is the link:
Stay well, enjoy the summer!
