This month we’re proud to bring you a fascinating free program that many of you have asked for: What to Do With Your Body. On November 21st, four experts will join us on Zoom for an in-depth examination of the various ways to dispose of human remains, some of which are new and unconventional. The range of options will include body and organ donation, alkaline hydrolysis, green burial, The Funeral Consumer’s Alliance, aquamation, home funerals, and natural burial, as well as traditional burial and cremation. The panel will compare important factors to help you make end-of-life plans that are cost-effective, good for the environment, and helpful to humanity. After each presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists. Our distinguished guest speakers will be:

  • Caitlin Doughty, Order of the Good Death
  • Andrea Barnes, San Diego Memorial Society, part of the Funeral Consumers’ Alliance
  • Mara Jones, Owner, Still Waters Funeral Services – alkaline hydrolysis and non-traditional methods
  • Erin Wilcox, PhD, Professional Anatomical Scientist, UCSD School of Medicine, Body Donation Program

Do you know someone who may be interested in Zooming with us for this thought-provoking program? Feel free to share this invitation. We hope to see you soon!
