Hearing Today on California EoLOA Lawsuit
A hearing today will decide if California’s End of Life Option Act will be put on hold while a lawsuit by the Christian Medical and Dental Association moves forward. The plaintiffs argued the law violates their religious rights by forcing them to tell patients they do not offer this type of end-of-life care. They must note it in the medical records and transfer the patient’s records to another physician upon request.
