Come hear renowned legal expert and fierce end-of-life choices advocate Kathryn Tucker, JD speak about the latest developments in the legal fight to expand end-of-life choices and research on psychedelic drugs.
Kathryn Tucker will share about the ongoing effort to compel the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to open access to psilocybin under “Right to Try” laws. If successful, people with life-threatening or terminal illnesses could seek relief through therapy with psilocybin, MDMA, or other Schedule I drugs currently being investigated in clinical trials.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Kathryn Tucker’s legal advocacy and help ensure that she can continue her vital efforts.
Due to limited seating, this will be a ticketed event free to HSSD members and for a small fee for nonmembers. We will be serving coffee and light refreshments. The Joyce Beers Community Center is located at 3900 Vermont St, San Diego in the Hillcrest neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking in the HUB parking garage adjacent to the venue.
