Join us in person for the Right-To-Die Film Series on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:00pm at the La Jolla Riford Library. We will show the movie onscreen and join in a discussion led by Faye Girsh afterwards.
February’s film selection is “Whose Life Is It Anyway” from 1981 starring Richard Dreyfuss. Ken Harrison (Dreyfuss) is a renowned sculptor until a devastating car accident leaves him a paraplegic. As he comes to grips with the loss of his independence and his art, he sinks into deep depression. All he wants to do is end his life, but the law forbids assisted dying.
