Come join us in person for another free Saturday afternoon film and a stimulating right-to-die discussion. February’s film selection is The Leisure Seeker (2018), starring film legends Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren, and directed by Paolo Virzi. Traveling in their family Leisure Seeker vintage recreational vehicle, John and Ella Spencer take one last road trip from Boston to the Hemingway House in the Florida Keys before his Alzheimer’s and her cancer can catch up with them. The film delivers comedy, drama, and adventure as it deals with dementia and end-of-life issues. Barry Price will lead the discussion and all questions are welcomed.
Films are a great way to initiate a difficult conversation. Bring your family, colleagues, and friends to enjoy The Leisure Seeker and join in our right-to-die discussion. The library provides plenty of free parking in their adjacent lot and we’ll provide light refreshments.
