Matthew Parcasio, Caregiver Programs and Outreach Coordinator at San Diego County Aging & Independence Services, will present an overview of nearly 30 programs and services offered by his agency and other community providers. Matthew has an MA in Gerontology and extensive experience caring for older adults and adults living with disabilities through programs in adult day healthcare, assisted living memory care, and non-medical home care.
Most local governments provide services for their senior populations. Even if you don’t live in San Diego County, you can learn about similar programs offered in your own county. Let us know if you benefitted from any of these services in San Diego or wherever you live. With government budget cuts, we’d also like to know if these programs have been cut or eliminated.
