HSSD Member Publishes Op Ed in The Sacramento Bee

Marcia Hofer is a life member of the Hemlock Society, dedicated political activist, and Founding President of A Better Exit (ABE). Her organization’s mission is to expand California’s End of Life Option Act to allow access to Medical Aid in Dying for more people in need. In November 2023, Marcia’s passionate, compelling Op Ed was published in the Sacramento Bee, which has a readership of over 553,000 including state legislators at the Capitol.
